Sunny Days...Sweeping the Clouds Away

So this past week, Maggie and I have been on vacation with 4 other lovely women, Grandma Dee, Cara, and Brittany. You wouldn't believe how well the difficult ones traveled, no fighting, no crying and no hitting.... Lauren and Maggie did excellent as well! ;-)

This was a much needed vacation, I will blog more about the specific later, I jusd wanted to give you wonderful readers a few highlights of the trip!

• Before we even left Jeffersonville on the way to Florida, my debit card gotsucked into the ATM machine, and it wouldn't spit it back out. I didn't have any access to money, and we drove around Louisville for an hour trying to find a night depository. Which we did not and I had to borrow money from Cara the whole week.



• Cara thought we drove over the ocean, twice. How she has made it as far as she has is beyond me. She's dumb!

• Maggie stuck Cheez-Its in between all of her toes, and then ate them one by one.
  
  
  
• Maggie thought that our hotel room was our new apartment. She we moved there.
  
• Grandma said that she and Maggie are just a couple of pole dancers. (This is due to the fact that they stayed close to the hand rail that led into the pool. Cara and Jessie explained what most people think of when they hear "poledancer", and she retracted her statement ;-)




• Cara decided to drop a duece when she knew that Jessie needed to pee. Therefore, Jessie was forced to pee in the bathtub, which caused all of her fake tan to come off.

• I embarassed the entire family when I refused to pay $5.29 for a tiny bowl of fruit for Maggie's breakfast at IHOP because it didn't arrive like the picture displayed. IT WAS RIDICULOUS!!!!!!! Do not get the fruit bowl! ~




• Lauren rode the entire way from Georgia to Florida with her fish floatie on.





• We were craving some fine Seafood dining so we stopped at a Captain D's and discovered that Maggie pops the end of popcorn shrimp off, then sucks out the shrimp. This makes her aunt Cara very happy and proud. Cara eats like a weirdo as well.






• Maggie pushed the alarm button on the hotel elevator causing Cara to smack her hand.




• Lauren said she couldn't look at the Lionfish display because she was freaked out and was going to throw up.




• Cara constantly sang A-1-A BEACHFRONT AVENUE!!!!

Finally the last leg of the trip, we stopped to see Dolphins, they were amazing the girls loved them,I later say, I wonder if there are dolphins in the wilderness in Fl? Cara then makes fun of me the whole way home. I thought that was a ligit ?!?!?

Babies and Beer

Boy has this weekend has been busy... Friday night; me, Cara, Lauren, Grandma Dee, Linda, and her man Scott all went to see the Crabb Family Concert! It was awesome, I think I have discovered that I may be full Gospel, I loved the church it was AWESOME!!!!
K- so I gotta tell you about the incident in the parking lot... Grandma Dee has bad knees and Cara insisted on driving her truck, so Me, G-ma, Cara, and Lauren piled in. Lauren and I sat in the back and Grandma and Cara rode shotgun. After the concert, Grandma had a hard time getting in the truck so I tried to give her a little boost, as she opened the door, Cara had just started the truck and from the radio blared, "You can do it put your back into".... SO of course we (me and Cara) die laughing I ended up peeing a little and Cara ended up throwing up... long story but funny!

So that was Friday night then came Sat.

Saturday morning The fam. headed to the brother's house to help hang pics and get ready for the shower Sunday, Daddy and Heather pretty much sat on the couch and compared bellies!

The Weekend!


FINALLY... It's Sat. night! Time to party and hang with the fam. and watch IU!!!!!
I went out with cousin's Cara and Amy and their Husband's Robbie and Larry. We had a blast! The game was a nail biter and well.... IU lost but only by 2 points! They played a good game!

Today is Landon's 2nd birthday! He is sooo big, I can not believe how fast these kids are growing, I remember when Lauren was born, it seems like yesterday, then came Maggie 2 years later and then Landon almost 2 years after her, now he is 2 himself!

He is soo cute, he loves Maggie and Lauren. He is all smiles and has such a cute personality!

This Is My Life...Sad, But True

A Day in the life of Jessie Smith


K so check it, this post will help everyone understand what a day in the life of Jessie Smith consists of.
6:30 get up get ready for work, I'm not woke up by my alarm clock, but by my howling basset hound, nice :) then I trip in the hallway over a toy grocery cart, almost fall, but recovered nicely if I do say so myself. I then let the dog out only so that he can chase a cat into the neighbors yard and I have to chase him in my bathrobe. Finally get the dog chained up and fed ready for my morning routine....jump in the shower and hear a weird noise, I open the curtain to see my baby sister puking in the toilet, BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!! then I get out blow dry my hair get ready for work, Brittany stays home from school and spends the day with her mom.
7:45- leave the house ready for work pull out of the driveway and Maggie screams you forgot my chocolate milk.... pull back in get the choc. milk head back out.
8-5 Work like a mad dog!
5:00 head home, not a care in the world, no children tonight, Brittany is ill and with her mother and Maggie is with her dad. After 2 phone calls from the Ex, and 15 questions about my upcoming vacation, I finally make it home, a throw a load of laundry in to settle in and watch a movie, I then am side tracked by the dirty dishes in the dungeon (Brittany's room) I load the dishwasher and discover, there is no detergent, so I head off to the store, come home with trash bags, air freshener and NO DISH DETERGENT! Ugh , I was ticked, oh well I'm doing nothing but watching TV, Now its 7:30, Molly calls I talk to her for a while then, got caught up in Little People big world on the TLC channel, LOVE THAT SHOW!!!!! Anyways... after about an hour and 1/2 of that I begin to doze off with the dog on the couch.
it's now 9-9:30, my cell phone rings, I jump up to answer it thinking, hey it could be a boy! :) as I was jumping up, I shattered my wine glass ( that I was drinking tea out of) and sliced my foot almost in half, K so maybe that was an exaggeration... but close. All of this only to find it was BRIAN calling me AGAIN, this time he got called in to work and he was bringing Maggie home, I said fine, I gotta go, cause I was bleeding out all over my kitchen.. I then hobbled to the bathroom ran cold water on my gaping wound then peroxide and bandaged myself up, I think I used 15 Sponge bob band aids, as I was bandaging my cell phone rings again, I didn't dare run to it this time, then my home phone, I hobble to the kitchen answer it and you guessed it, Brian again, this time, he changed his mind, he's not going to work.NICE!!!! All this and your not even bringing Maggie home! So there I sat gashed open foot, no kid, no boy calling me and a dog licking up tea between the slivers of glass! I decided to end the day and go to bed! Shew!

Hank & Skynyrd!!!

Hank & Skynyrd - A girls dream!

So I heard on the radio today, that Hank and Skynyrd are coming to town Friday June 15th, so you know where I will be that day! No one knows how awesome this is for me, these are my 2 fav. in the world..... I know a little RED but I don't care, I will be singing A country boy can survive and Sweet Home Alabama all night! I'm going to drag Cara and Robbie with me, which means I don't have a date... any takers?!?!?!? I don't even need a date, they are that awesome! I gotta go start polishing my Justin's! :)

Stop! It's Blogger Time!

So, I've decided to become a blogger myself. Cara and Beth seemed to have mastered the Blog world, and i hate to be left out so here I go....

As mentioned in Cara's first post, we are the very best of friends. We are exaclty the same person but opposite. I am 5'2", she is 6' 10" . I am 24 with a beautiful , but mean :) 3 year old daughter. I have been divorced for about 2 years. And when I say divorced, I really am! :) Cara is 28 with 2 beautiful children Lauren 5 and Landon almost 2, she is still married! and HOT per Cara..... I have red hair, and usually highlight it blonde ,Cara has, brown hair I think or atleast she did when we were little :) I think that may have been the last time I saw her real hair.

Cara and I have different outlooks on Marriage and Divorce, when she was "tired" of being married, she decided to leave and get a divorce. She since has came to her senses... I on the other hand am more of a "Stand by your man" no matter what ,kinda gal, it's the girlfriend and her 3 children with 2 different dads that I found problems with! ;-) But things are better now that I am past that chapter in my life. It's hard thinking you will spend the rest of your life with someone and then find that you will spend the rest of your life, exchanging the offspring. Sad...... not really! ;)

The most recent happenings in our lives has been that Cara and Robbie have made up and moved back in together. Yay for them, I may have vomited a little in the mouth the first time we all hungout again, but truly... I missed Robbie and am very glad that they have decided to work things out!

Well... that's all for now, I will blog again later with some pics! Maggie is having a slumber party tongiht ...... so PRAY that I will not loose my mind :)
