He's here... he's here!!!!!

Baby Maxwell Warren Hubbard was born this morning at 2:12 a.m. It was a perfect delivery Heather did GREAT!!!! she's an awesome mom and Max loves to eat! ;-) Jeff did great also, Heather says he will hardly put Max down. Sorry there's no pictures of Maggie with Max, they were taken with a film camera! I'm sure there will be some in the very near future!!!!!

The Evening started around 6:30 Heather called and said she was timing her contractions, her mom convinced her to go to the hospital, and as we all know how Heather is, she insisted on going home and taking a shower and shaving her legs, which she did, Jeff called me around 7:30 and told me she was 6 cm. So we headed to the hospital, leaving Maggie and her new harmonica with Poppy!
When we got there they were giving her her epideral, so we had to wait about 30 minutes

These beautiful ladies below are Elaine and Cindy the New MeMe's and Brittany the new Aunt..... So check it Heathers mom and dad's last name is Smith and her sisters name is Brittany, so this baby has 2 grandma and grandpa Smiths and 2 aunt Brittany's and 2 and Jessie .... CRAZY!!!
Then of course there is Jesse and Maggie's boyfriend JR, JR was a trooper he came with Jesse and stayed until Max came which was 6 1/2 hours later! Here's the Daddy to be! When they let us in, Heather was all numb and feeling NO PAIN!!!!! she did wonderful! They had her all hooked up to the monitors and the baby was doing very well.Only me and Heather would take a self portrait while one of us was in labor! Why does she look bette than me ?!?!?!? Ugh....

I love this girl, she has really shown what she is made out of with this pregnancy this wasn't easy for her and she has done GREAT!!!!! I'm proud of her!

Jeff is going to be a great dad, he really has a heart for children and Maggie just thinks he is the greatest.

Together, they will make a great team! I love them both! And FYI I hooked them up! Score.... Jessie, why can't I do that for myself?!? Ugh... again!

After about 41/2 hours of labor and 1 1/2 hours of pushing, baby Max made his way into the world!!!!!

Max was born at 2:12 A.M. and weighed 6lbs. 7oz. just like his momma did when she was born!

Heather's mom and her new Grand baby! Cindy was sooo excited once everyone cleared the room and the Doctor said it was shoe time, she could barely contain herself, it was priceless!

Heather's dad couldn't be there he was sick, but he soon came the next day to check his Grandson out, the first thing he said was, " He has Smith feet." like him! ;-)

The Waterbed

My dear friend Edna passed away today she was such a sweet and caring lady. She always made me smile and I was looking forward to showing her my new hair, I told her I was getting it cut and she begged me not too, but you know me, I needed a change! ;-)


A funny story about Edna! -

One summer a long, long, time ago way---- before Maggie, I spent almost every weekend and even some week days with Edna,. She had a King size waterbed that had a ppuncture that wouldn't stay patched, so she had bought a new mattress. She called me and asked me if I wanted to go get lunch and help her drain her waterbed. I told her I was game, just to come get me, I couldn't drive yet. So she came and got me and we ate lunch and talked about how exciting it would be to go to Heaven and how we would see our loved ones again, she told me that that is what she looked forward to the most. After lunch we headed to her house to drain the mattress.... this is the funny part :-) She told me that she would think about this story and it brought a smile to her face and she couldn't help but laugh out loud!

We read on the hose kit how to do it , so we hooked it up to the stink and the mattress and turned the water on.... NOTHING, it wasn't draining, so I suggested that we hang the hose out the window and let gravity pull the water down..... NOTHING!!!! So then I said alright, if you tell anybody that I ever did this I will swear you are a liar, so I then began to suck on he hose like a straw to get the water started guess what.... It worked, but not before I almost choked to death on 20 year old water bed water and mind you this whole time I am squated down outside by her window. She laughed so hard at me while I was spitting that nasty water out , that she could hardly talk. The neighbors got a good show that weekend! ;-) After laughing about it for another couple hours she took me home and told me that she loved me and that I really meant a lot to her, she would never know how much she meant to me.

We would take long drives and talk about heaven and how wonderful it is going to be, tonight Edna is there and I am positive that she is smiling and NOT because of the silly weaterbed story, but because she is HAPPY and with our Lord Jesus Christ and will be forever more! She's the lucky one! She will no longer know pain or struggle only joy and happiness! She will be greatly missed, but I know one day, I will hear her tell the waterbed story again! And what a day that will be!

Happy Thunder!

Hope everyone had a great Thunder, we spent the day fixing up our yard and shopping! Jeff and Heather came over and cooked out and we watched Thunder on TV. The highlight of the night was Jeff and Maggie playing with a glow stick! Those two are silly! He's going to make an awesome dad! Maggie also found a frog!

Today's the Day!

So today, I have eye surgery! I am so excited!!!!!! I have to go in without make up on and the worst part of this whole thing is that I can not wear eye makeup for a week! YIKES!!!!! If you have ever seen a redhead without eye makeup you'd understand..... anyways here is the absolute last picture of me EVER in glasses!!!!!!

Pardon the red eyes... it's 6:30 in the AM and I'm not in the mood to fix them!

The new and improved!

This is the "new hair"

I got my hair cut today, I wanted to grow it out just to prove to myself that I can... I did then... I chopped it off! Yay me! I got 7 inches cut off today, that was the longest my hair has ever been. I'm on this new kick of self improvement, I got my hair cut, I'm starting to go back to the gym, and I'm having lasik surgery Wednesday.... Now all I need is laser hair removal and Lypo and I will be golden! Oh yeah did I mention that I am also whitening my teeth, so if you see this cute short haired girl with these unbelievabley white teeth and NO GLASSES, say hi it's me, you just don't recognize me ! ;-)

Funny thing about this weekend, I did nothing but clean house, Sunday after dinner and sleeping through church, we must have been exhausted, Molly and Heather came over and we watched movies, this weekend was a great weekend for it to rain, Flight of the Navigator was on twice, anyways.... we watched some Nicholas Cage marathon, AWESOME!!!! but the funny part was we watched it in my bed, we didn't even get up all day, we ordered pizza made Brittany go get it and then ate in in my bed! Funtime!!!!!! Here's a picture of the happenings or lack there of! ;-) Hope everyone had an as eventful weekend as we did.

House cleaning day!

It's rainy and cold so, I decided to clean my house like it owed me money, I mean I scrubbed and scrubbed! Little Miss. Maggie dressed herslef and this is what I found !

Tonight, my friend Schneed came over to eat dinner with me and the girls, the phone rang, I answered it and it was Lauren, my 5 year old niece, Cara's daughter, she says, hi Jessie I have a suprise for you, I painted my room.... Can I talk to Maggie, SO they talked on the phone like grown ups and finally Maggie said bye and handed me the phone and Lauren was gone. They amaze me!
